Celebrating the Life of Sheila Mishelle Early Parham
May 5, 1956 – February 10, 2026
Sheila Mishelle Early Parham, of Norfolk, transitioned peacefully on February 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable joy. Born on May 5, 1956, Sheila lived a life full of heart, humor, and devotion to those she cherished most.
Sheila dedicated her career to serving others as a Certified Medical Assistant. She found true fulfillment in caring for her elderly patients, always offering comfort, compassion, and a warm smile. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her profession—it was simply who she was.
She was the proud and loving mother of Viola Parham and Arren Parham, and the cherished grandmother of Lauren Pugh. She is also survived by her sisters Kathy Biddle, Wanda Figgs, and Angela Davis; her brother John Carter; her niece Taylore Blackwell; her nephews Robert Parham Jr., Darrelle Biddle, and Daryl Biddle; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Sheila was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leroy Parham Sr.; her mother, Jean Francis Early; her father, John Wesley Early; her grandmother, Enid Chappell; her brothers, Ronnie and John “Buddy” Early; and her sisters, Jean Early and Tonnie Blackwell.
If you knew Sheila, you knew joy. She was caring, outgoing, and effortlessly funny—a woman whose smile could light up any room. She was often the life of the party, bringing laughter wherever she went. Whether she was casting a fishing line on a peaceful day by the water or surrounded by family and friends, those were her happiest moments. She loved deeply, laughed loudly, and lived fully.
Her presence was a gift. Her laughter was contagious. Her love was unconditional.
While our hearts mourn her absence, we celebrate a life beautifully lived. Sheila’s spirit will continue to shine through the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love she poured into each of us.
A memorial celebration of life service will be held on February 28, 2026 at 4453 Bonney Rd. Virginia Beach, VA 23462 from 11am-1:30pm.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever smiling. 🤍
